  • • Clinical Resource Therapy for the non drug treatment of unwanted emotions (Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Depression etc) and unwanted behaviours (O.C.D., drug taking, eating disorders, shopaholism etc)

Appointments

Consultation is by appointment. Urgent cases will be seen on the day. If you require a longer consultation please let our receptionist know.

Home Visits. If you wish your doctor to make a home visit, please call the surgery first thing in the morning.

Communication. A doctor is available during normal surgery hours for emergency advice. Our staff are experienced in determining the appropriate response to any phone request. For security and privacy reasons no medical advice or results will ever be given by email or SMS.

Billing Arrangements

We are a private billing practice. Information about our fees and services is available at reception. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, or failure to attend an appointment will incur a cancellation fee.

Special Practice Notes

Referrals to a consultant/specialist. Doctors in this practice are competent at handling common health problems. When necessary, they can use opinions from Specialists. You can discuss this openly with your doctor, including potential out of pocket expenses.

Test Results.Test results are reviewed by the Doctor and acted on in a timely manner. Patients are asked to make an appointment with their doctor to follow up on all results. We will contact you if the matter is urgent.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised staff members. A summary of our Privacy Policy is displayed in the Waiting Room. To obtain the detailed Privacy Policy or your medical records please ask at reception.

This practice has a process whereby complaints can be made formally. Complaints should initially be directed to the privacy officer. If the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant, the doctor's involvement is sought. If the matter is further not resolved, the patient is referred to the Office of the Health Services Commissioner 1800 136 066.



After hours care is provided by our locum service on 9429 5677. For emergencies please call 000 or
attend a local hospital emergency department (eg Cabrini, Epworth, Alfred or Monash).
